After planning carried out by the engineering firm Weyel, the community centre, complete with parish and youth centre, located in the Westphalian city of Hamm, was equipped with MULTIBETON underfloor heating, with a gas boiler serving as heat source. The 560 square metre heated area was than fitted with tiling.
The MULTIBETON underfloor heating is ideally suited for the up to 9 metres high rooms with an open window area of 20 square metres, because it supplies the heat exactly to those areas where it is needed, with energy-consuming heat cushions below the ceiling not occurring any longer.
