Just as the German ICE, the French high-speed train TGV of the S.N.C.F. (French National Railway Company) was provided with own railway lines and stations. In July 2000, the railway station in Valence (Drôme) was equipped with 2,300 m² of MB-Estrichsystem by the company Cofathec.
The system is equipped with a bivalent heat pump, providing the system with heat in winter and cooling in summer. All distributors were put in the floor.
