In 1994, the 750 m² lobby of this building was equipped with MULTIBETON floor heating and cooling. This system is operated with a heat pump which either obtains the energy required for heating from the ground water, or else it releases energy obtained from cooling into the ground water.

| Villa Cahn in Bad Godesberg | |
Villa Cahn is situated in a prime location directly on the Rhein River in Bonn-Bad Godesberg. This building, which is similar to a castle and dates back to the middle of the 19th century, stands under monument protection legislation. It had been left to deteriorate since 1979 until a new owner took possession of the grounds, which cover approximately 10,000 m², and contracted for extensive renovations that had become urgently necessary. In addition to windows and to ceilings decorated with paintings as well as wooden carved figures (which had all been substantially damaged by vandalism), sanitary and heating systems also needed to be replaced. The original heating system consisted of a series of large open fireplaces which heated even decentral parts of the villa utilizing air ducts.
In 1997, 260 m² of this historical structure were refurbished with the MB-Estrichsystem using flowing screed, with particular emphasis focused on the 14 meter high entry area as well as the serpentine cellar with its narrow passageways which was converted into an extensive Whirlpool swimming and leisure-time area. This historical building now incorporates the latest in heating technology in accord with the slogan found on one of the fireplaces: "Whether rich or poor, I'll warm you all!"

| Täve's sports hotel | |
"Täve's Sport Hotel" was built in Schierke in the Harz Mountains during 1996. Täve is Gustav "Täve" Schur who was one of the most successful sport cyclists of his day. On two different occasions, Täve Schur was world champion! He built a sports hotel here together with his son Jan, who is also a well known cyclist (world champion and Olympia winner in Seoul). Naturally emphasis is placed on cycling sports, although plenty of other types of sports are available as well. Blumenberg and Partner from Langenstein - the contracting MB partner - installed 829 m² of floor heating using the MB screed system. This system now provides a comfortable environment for a hotel project designed for sports and health.
Täve and Jan Schur were also dedicated developers. During the planning phase at a seminar at the Troisdorf MB production facilities, they met with technical planner, Construction Engineer Zehmisch, in order to inform themselves about technical details involved in using the MULTIBETON-System.

| Hotel Eduardshof in Bad Freienwalde | |
In the rolling countryside of the Ober-Barnim, there is located the 4-star hotel Eduardshof, surrounded by lakes and forests of the Oderbruch. The glazed front in transparent thermal insulation design in connection with the complete planting of the façade is considered to be architecturally unique in Germany. Heat pumps and groundwater utilization provide for economic handling of natural resources. The optimal solution is the MB underfloor heating in connection with the economical low-temperature heating that allows heating and cooling of the entire house, thus providing homely temperatures to guests in the summer and in the winter. With it, the system remains hidden and is thus the ideal solution also in connection with the glazed façade.
The MB System was installed in 1998 by the heating construction specialist company Tauchert & Zache. The 2,000 m² of MB Screed System meet the demands of the owner, Dieter Bosse, who has been very satisfied with the system up to now. MULTIBETON specialists:
